Interiors Monthly Award Winner 2021

For the ninth year in succession, Cormar Carpet Company is delighted to be voted the UK’s “Best Carpet Manufacturer” by readers of Interiors Monthly.

Taking home the award again is a great privilege and we would like to say a huge thank you to all our customers, for their ongoing support over what has been a very turbulent year.

Twelve months ago, when we last lifted the award, the world was in the grip of a global pandemic, and everyone had to readjust to incorporate all the changes which COVID-19 had brought.

However, in 2021, the year in which we celebrate our 65th Birthday, we are still busy manufacturing in the UK and going from strength to strength. The fact that we own and control our own delivery fleet has enabled us to provide delivery times to our retail customers that are more certain and ensure that carpets get to retailers and contractors as quickly and efficiently as possible. Not forgetting our amazing team of people that work behind the scenes to ensure this first-class delivery service is brought to all.

In addition to the team spirit, we have continued to invest throughout the pandemic. In the last year, two new ranges have been successfully launched. The first was Inglewood Saxony, launched in the summer of 2020 (pictured left). The second, Woodland Heather Twist launched earlier in the spring of this year.

Another service which is thriving is Cormar’s award-winning trade portal. Launched in 2012, it is now used by over 50% of our customers and offers retailers the opportunity to place orders and check stock easily day or night 24/7. This ease of access to order processing means that you have will Cormar carpet taking pride of place in your home in no time.

Over the past 65 years we have grown the brand immensely and this year, in spite of the pandemic and restrictions looks like it will be another successful one!
