Cormar Carpet Company have added 10 new trucks to their fleet of delivery vehicles –increasing the fleet in time for the busiest period of the year.
The new lorries will operate out of Cormar’s Hemel Hempstead regional distribution centre, delivering carpets to retailers and contractors throughout the South East and South West of the country. And like all of Cormar’s carpets, the new vehicles are also made locally by Lancashire DAF, based in Leyland. The 10 new vehicles feature recently updated branding, with a greater emphasis on the carpet being made in Great Britain.
David Cormack, Marketing Director, said “We pride ourselves on our nationwide delivery fleet as it is an important offering to our independent retailers and local carpet shops, differentiating us from many of our competitors. As a family run, British manufacturer, it’s important we continue to work with local, British companies where we can, while this investment further demonstrates Cormar’s commitment to providing our customers with the best possible service.”
Cormar Carpet Company have been manufacturing and delivering carpets in Britain since 1956, from their two Lancashire mills and via its regional distribution centre in Hemel Hempstead, to a network of carpet retailers and wholesalers across the UK and Ireland.
