“This year we’ve made huge investments in the business that take us forward as a dynamic and leading edge player in the market so it’s great for the Cormar team to be recognised once again for the hard work and determination that they have put in.” At the start of the year, Cormar opened the doors to a new 130,000 sq ft distribution centre, based in Hemel Hempstead, which consolidated and strengthened its national distribution network across the South of England. The multi-million pound infrastructure houses two cut length machines and a sortation system which allows Cormar to stock up to 2,500 rolls of carpet.

As one of the leaders in residential carpet manufacturing, Cormar has also been working hard this year to further expand its portfolio of carpets and push the boundaries when it comes to carpet style. The latest addition to the company’s easy clean family is the Apollo Comfort range, made with a new softer Excellon polypropylene fibre that brings a premium feel to an affordably priced range. It is also in the process of re-launching the popular wool twist range, Home Counties Plains range.
