Title: Logistics Operative
Reports to: Operations Supervisor
Based at: Brookhouse Mill
Hours per week: 40 hours per week, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm - 6am
Job Purpose
As a Logistics Operative, you will play an important role in the smooth and efficient running of Cormar’s warehouse operations. Working as part of the night shift team, you will help with picking, packing, loading, and stock movement activities to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. You will also help maintain high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping across the site.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out warehouse duties including picking, packing, loading, and stock movements.
- Operate forklift trucks, boom lifts, and other machinery safely and effectively.
- Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to record stock transactions accurately.
- Ensure all products meet the required quality standards before dispatch.
- Maintain agreed housekeeping and safety standards across the warehouse.
- Support with regular stock counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Work flexibly across the team, supporting colleagues and covering other tasks when required.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures and report any incidents, damage, or hazards immediately.
- Contribute to improvement initiatives that support safety, efficiency, and teamwork.

Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a forklift truck (FLT) – essential.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and stock control.
- Able to work accurately and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Basic IT and administrative skills for recording stock and order information.
- Flexible and willing to take on a variety of warehouse tasks as needed.
- Physically capable of performing manual tasks, including lifting moderate weights.
