"I launched my second account in early 2020 as a way of sharing my family home with my followers and hopefully spreading joy with some interiors inspiration. I’ve always been incredibly passionate about interior design and so, when we moved into our new home last year, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to express my style. I loved the idea of having a blank canvas to do whatever I wanted with.
One of the first things we addressed was the carpets. I believe that carpets are as important to a room as paint, lighting, furnishings, and everything else. Carpets provide a base for the room you’re decorating and for that reason they were at the very top of my list!
I picked Cormar because they’re an award-winning, family-owned business who really seem to care about the quality of their product. They have a huge range of carpets, from textured wool loop to luxurious deep pile, and not only that but they have a diverse array of shades. I love warm, honey-toned neutrals, so I opted for Sensation in Ventura Opal as I could pair this with my favourite deep browns and gold, as well as a mix of other textures.
