When we moved into our house in March 2021, we knew from the start that there was a lot of work to do. The house wasn’t that lovely type of vintage character, but was also far from a new build, so every room required some TLC. We soon set to work re-painting every wall there was.
Despite all the licks of fresh paint, the one room that just never felt homely to me was the lounge. The carpet was in terrible condition in some parts and the room just always felt uninviting. As a result, our lounge now looks and feels like a completely different room and I am finally able to enjoy spending my time in there.
