Cormar Invests in its Sales Team
Cormar Carpets, one of the UK’s leading tufted carpet manufacturers, is expanding its national sales team.
Cormar has created three new sales territories and increased its field sales personnel from 17 to 20.
“Although the carpet trade remains tough, we have confidence in the future and like other aspects of our business we are not afraid to invest” says Cormar md, David Judge.“This expansion of the Sales Team means that they will be able to concentrate on servicing our carpet retailers even more effectively and developing new business.”
The new Sales Appointments are Mark O'Brien, who will cover South London, Chris Hudson covering West London, Mick Binks who will cover Oxford/ Berkshire and Dennis Johnson who will cover East Midlands. All four new members have extensive experience, all coming from within the carpet trade.
To help manage the larger sales team, Cormar are dividing the UK and Ireland into three regions - Northern, Western and Eastern, with a Regional Manager responsible for each sales region.

With visitor numbers up by over 9% from last year, the Cormar Carpets stand was bustling with retailers keen to view the latest carpet collections.

A Team from Cormar Carpets, PPS Commercials, DAF Trucks and CVL Ltd has completed “The Way of the Roses” bike ride, raising over £1200 for the Booth Centre charity in Manchester.
