Situated in Ramsbottom, Lancashire - this is where it all starts. The finest quality yarns are sourced and stored here at Holme Mill, ready for making into carpet. After being carefully inspected, they are then sent to our nearby Backing Plant, Brookhouse Mill in Greenmount, Lancashire, ready for backing.
Just a couple of miles away from our Holme Mill site, here we back all our carpets with woven secondary backing. We then cut carpet to length or dispatch it as full rolls to our network of retailers across the UK, via regional collection points or our new purpose built RDC in Hemel Hempstead. Brookhouse Mill also doubles up as our head office and our retail showroom.
Our new, purpose-built, 130,000 sq. ft. facility holds stock ready for dispatch to our retailers. The distribution centre also includes two "Cut Lengths" machines and allows Cormar to stock up to 2,500 rolls of carpet. Hemel Hempstead has nine loading bays, parking capacity for up to 60 HGV vehicles and new reach/counter balance trucks.
