New CEO for Cormar Carpet Company

At the beginning of January of 2019, Tim Eagles has taken up the position of CEO at Cormar Carpet Company, following the retirement of David Judge, Managing Director, who will take up a position of advisor to the board.

Tim is originally from the North of England and has a Masters in Engineering from Brunel University. He was at Stannah for almost twenty years, the last ten of these as Managing Director. With a background in engineering, supply chain management and operations, Tim led a successful multi-site operation in the UK and Eastern Europe, contributing to the company’s Queens Award for Enterprise in 2010, and a Cranfield University award for supply chain excellence in 2012.

Commenting on the transition, Betty Cormack, Cormar’s Non-Executive Chairman said “We wish to thank David for his determination, commitment and inspiration as Managing Director at Cormar.  He has played a large part in making the company what it is today and in building a strong and professional management team.  We are greatly looking forward to working with Tim Eagles and we are confident that he will continue to build on Cormar’s reputation for customer service and quality.”
