Vacancy: Trainee Merchandiser

Title: Trainee Merchandiser

Reports to: Sample Department Manager

Based at: Holme Mill

Hours per week: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:00

Main Duties: Travel the length and breadth of the U.K and Southern Ireland installing, repairing, and collecting display stands located in our customer retail premises. Liaising with customers and Territory Managers, adhering to all health and safety guidelines and ensuring displays are installed to agreed high standards.

Job involves up to 3-4 nights away a week.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dressing of Cormar stands to an acceptable level
  • Loading & unloading of vans in a safe manner
  • Route planning
  • Maintain agreed house-keeping standards
  • Booking accommodation & ferries
  • Long distance driving & travel
  • Delivery, construction and installation of stands
  • Flexible working hours
  • On site problem solving
  • Deal with customers face to face on a daily basis in a professional, polite and efficient manner

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Basic electrical & woodworking knowledge
  • Good knowledge of U.K Geography
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Clean driving licence
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items safely
