Title: Finance Administrator

Reports to: Finance Manager

Based at: Brookhouse Mill

 

Job purpose: To provide support to the Finance team in several key areas including financial management, controls, reporting, planning & analysis, together with the aim of improving the flow of data/information.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Under the guidance of the Finance Manager manage the car fleet process from procurement to disposal
  • Provide support and holiday cover for the weekly payroll process using Sage 50 cloud payroll
  • Provide ongoing reports and analysis including period end reporting and distribution of reports to various internal and external users
  • Support in terms of analysis to help the month end close routine
  • Improve the flow and quality of financial information which is available
  • Support the generation and maintenance of process and control documentation
  • Ad-hoc reports

  • Adhere to and promote the Cormar Values

 

Other:

  • Cover team duties as required
  • Understand how own role and KPI’s impact on organisation and department objectives
  • Support manager to deliver the above
  • Exposure will be gained across the business and there will be opportunity to be involved in a range of areas within the Finance function as the role develops
  • Training will be provided on company systems

 

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Interested in a career within Finance and willing to learn
  • Proficient in excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communicator
  • The ability to adapt skills, and support and assist other work areas whenever necessary
  • The candidate must be well presented, self motivated, conscientious, and be inquisitive when reviewing data
  • Ability to concentrate within a busy environment
