Autumn Launch for Sensation Twist at the Flooring Show in Harrogate

Updated. 6.September.2013

New Carpet Ranges launched at Harrogate

This year Cormar Carpets unveiled the latest member of their Sensation carpet family – Sensation Twist. Using the same soft, lustrous Luxelle polypropylene yarn, the range was introduced at the National Flooring Trade Show in Harrogate, held at the beginning of September.

One of the UK’s major tufted carpet manufacturers, Cormar Carpets have enjoyed success over the last 18 months with their new Sensation range – a deep pile, luxurious carpet which has a silk like look, but being produced from Luxelle polypropylene, carries a 10 year stain warranty. In June an additional heather carpet range – Sensation Heathers was successfully launched and now the latest Sensation Twist, means that three Sensation ranges will be available in flooring shops throughout Britain and Ireland, this Autumn.

Like the rest of the Sensation stain resistant carpet collection, Sensation Twist uses Luxelle polypropylene and comes with a 10 year stain warranty. It is available in 16 plain colours, including a wide selection of neutrals as well as a selection of brighter shades – ideal for lounge carpet, stair carpet or bedroom carpet . Carpet samples will be available throughout good quality carpet shops, from October.

During the flooring exhibition Cormar were presented with the Carpet Supplier of the Year Award by the Metro Independent Flooring Retailer Buying Group.  Recognising the company’s high quality carpets, delivery and service to the group, Cormar were given the Metro Group’s ‘Supplier of the Year’ for the 14th consecutive year - an accomplishment no other British carpet manufacturer has achieved before.

As well as promoting the latest new carpet Sensation Twist, Cormar also showcased their in store retail displays including the Sales Station, which highlights two carpet ranges on a double-sided lectern, as well as showing smaller five other ranges on the side of the display. Designed to show the maximum amount of carpet samples in one square metre of space, the Sales Station offers carpet shops the opportunity to show either Cormar Carpet’s Easy Clean ranges or its Wool ranges, including 100% wool carpets and British Wool twist ranges.

Also featured on the exhibition stand was Cormar’s Trade Web Portal which allows carpet shops to check stock and order carpet online any time of the day or night, including weekends.

Over the course of the three-days there was the opportunity for carpet / flooring retailers to win a Mini I Pad every day on the stand. To enter Cormar stockists were required to fill in an entry card and present it at the show. The three lucky winners were Rodney Gowans from Gowans Flooring in Castle Douglas, Paul Telfer from Tony Roberts Carpets in Whitehaven and Teresa Bennett from Carpetwise in Stratford upon Avon .
