Cormar Carpets takes on a new 'bright spark' Alex Nuttall joins the Engineering team at both mills in Bury.
Alex Nuttall, 19, from Haslingden has joined the company as an apprentice electrical engineer and will work alongside the engineering team to develop his skills to complement his course through Bury College. He will learn key aspects of the company’s carpet backing, recently invested cut conversion equipment and the initial manufacturing stage on Cormar's state-of-the-art tufting machines.
“We are proud to support apprenticeship schemes,” said Cormar MD, David Judge. “In the short time that Alex has been with us, he has already impressed us with his work ethic and maturity. We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial working relationship.”
Cormar Carpets indulges the senses by introducing Soft Focus, its new super-soft, luxurious easy clean carpet collection.
With visitor numbers up by over 9% from last year, the Cormar Carpets stand was bustling with retailers keen to view the latest carpet collections.
